B P Collins has received its second gold award from the Corporate Social Responsibility Accreditation (CSRA) body, a national organisation focused on improving CSR in business.
B P Collins was assessed on its dedication to protecting the environment, supporting people in its workplace and strengthening the local community. The Gold award is only given to a small number of companies every year.
Gina Connell, Chief Marketing Officer and B P Collins’ CSR champion said:
“At B P Collins, Social Responsibility runs through the core of our business and has been integrated fully into our working lives whether that’s protecting the environment, focusing on our people or supporting our community. We make every effort in ensuring that all aspects of our workplace are respected and inclusive from career opportunities to workforce best practice. We are constantly mindful of minimising our impact on the environment. And we are passionate about supporting the community we work in – not only have we been able to donate thousands of pounds to charities, but have worked to develop strong relationships and promote the charities we support.”
CSRA spokesperson Richard Collins said:
“B P Collins was a trailblazer when it became one of the first businesses to achieve Gold CSR Accreditation and started its CSR Journey.
“It continues to trailblaze by not only achieving a Gold CSR re-accreditation but by showing significant progress against all four of the CSR Four Pillars of environment, workplace, community and philanthropy. This a company that takes its social responsibility seriously and care passionately about their staff, customers and the world they work and live in. Achieving CSR Gold Accreditation twice is truly a testimony to its excellence in CSR.”
