Maria joined the B P Collins wills, trusts and probate team in 2024 when West London firm, Cathcart Solicitors merged with B P Collins LLP.
Experience:
Maria has a wealth of administrative experience having worked in various settings over the years. In times gone by she was a cover teacher at a primary school and had a banking background in her youth. In 2015, she joined Cathcarts as a trainee conveyancing secretary having previously worked for another law firm. She was initially taken on to assist partner, John Cathcart as a conveyancing assistant which evolved into the role of secretary whilst assisting with conveyancing matters pre and post completion. Maria has worked for the probate department at Cathcarts for the last six years assisting probate managers with audio typing and covering reception when required. She would say a ‘jack of all trades’ in a small family run law firm.
Outside the office:
Maria is very devoted to her family and friends and enjoys socialising and making regular connections with them. Maria is a regular gym goer and invested in a healthy lifestyle but does enjoy baking sweet treats!
