On Thursday 16 June, Buckinghamshire Business First hosted hundreds of local business people in Wycombe for the annual Buckinghamshire Business Awards. The awards provide an opportunity for local businesses in the area to demonstrate the hard work and vision that makes them leaders in their fields.
In a night that truly celebrated the spirit of entrepreneurship, 13 awards were handed out to deserving winners, including the New Business of the Year award sponsored by B P Collins.
Though they faced tough competition from the other finalists, The Snaffling Pig Co. were the well-deserved winners who lifted the award on the night.
Owned by three young entrepreneurs, the company is eager to take the humble pork crackling to new heights with a penchant for bold flavours and honest produce – a quality which has been key to their growth and success.
Presenting them with their award, corporate and commercial partner Simon Deans congratulated the winners on “the strength and stability of their venture” which is bolstered by their “innovative vision and strategy for future development”.
