B P Collins and Pulsant are delighted to announce they have been awarded second place in the Cloud Transformation Project of the Year category at the SDC Awards 2021.
Following a period of significant growth, B P Collins had two key business goals: increase operational efficiency and improve agility to be able to respond quicker and scale in line with client demand.
The firm’s aim was to achieve the best possible outcome for clients, and it recognised that enabling a high-performing workforce was critical to success. There was only one solution: moving all IT systems to the cloud.
Gina Connell, director of infrastructure, B P Collins says: “We were fortunate to have the right vision early on, and the expertise of the Pulsant team to execute and implement it, so it was business-as-usual for us when the pandemic struck. Because everything was in the cloud and we didn’t have servers on site, our move to remote working was seamless and our IT team was able to manage everything.”
B P Collins has completely transformed its operations, consolidated services and improved its resilience. The business has increased productivity because of the new flexible and stable cloud platform, enabling employees to work remotely with greater flexibility and providing clients with a seamless service, regardless of employee location.
“With this project we literally changed everything. It was a true team effort to manage multiple competing deadlines, deliver on time and we now have a great partnership in place moving forward,” adds Connell.
