B P Collins is delighted to announce that it was the lead sale side legal adviser to a corporate deal which won two awards at The Business Magazine’s Thames Valley Deals Awards in Reading.
B P Collins’ corporate team, led by partner Alex Zachary, and its specialist property and employment practices advised Summerleaze Limited on its sale of Andigestion Limited to Severn Trent Green Power Limited. The significant deal won both Corporate to Corporate Deal of the Year and Mid-Range Deal of the Year.
Alex Zachary, corporate and commercial partner at B P Collins says:
“What an incredible way to end the year. This was a special deal not only due to its size and complexity, but also because it is in a sector in which B P Collins has longstanding experience – waste, recycling and renewables – all whilst helping support the Government’s commitment towards net zero emissions. We were able to draw from the experience of our top-ranked Environment group in supporting a client we have advised for over 30 years.”
Jeremy Malkinson, Finance Director, Summerleaze Ltd adds:
“We have worked with B P Collins for many years, including on several significant corporate transactions. With their experience, knowledge, foresight, and commercial awareness, we were advised by a deal team that was able to overcome complex challenges, found innovate solutions to problems, maintained strong relationships with all key stakeholders and burned the midnight oil when required to get the deal done. B P Collins has consistently delivered great results for us over the years, and this deal was no exception. We would certainly recommend using B P Collins to anyone looking to buy or sell a business.”
This year B P Collins has also won Corporate Law Firm of the Year at the Insider Media Thames Valley Dealmakers Awards; Property Law Firm of the Year at the Thames Valley Property Awards and the Excellence in Customer Service award at the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.
