B P Collins LLP announces latest promotions
- Private client lawyer, Naadim Shamji is promoted to senior associate.
- Property litigation lawyer, Elliott Brookes is promoted to senior associate.
- Mike Elliott in the dispute resolution team and Greg Clark in the employment team both become associates.
- Dominic Ibbs and Sharon Heselton are both appointed as Principal Lawyers, in recognition of their experience and seniority within the private client team.
B P Collins is delighted to announce its latest promotions. Private client lawyer, Naadim Shamji is promoted to senior associate after demonstrating his expertise in all aspects of private client work, including wills, estate planning, loan agreements, trusts, lasting powers of attorney, court of protection applications and probate.
The property litigation team sees Elliott Brookes promoted to senior associate. A previous winner of the Bucks, Berks & Oxon Law Society’s ‘Junior Lawyer of the Year’ award, Elliott has expertise in a wide range of property litigation matters, including matters under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954, boundary disputes, rights of way and other easement disputes, claims for adverse, trust of land disputes, possession proceedings, forfeiture and debt recovery, matters under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987 and advising clients on exercising break options.
Mike Elliott, who works on a wide variety of construction litigation matters in the dispute resolution team is promoted to associate; while Greg Clark in the employment team is also promoted to associate. As part of his employment practice, Greg advises employers and employees on both contentious and non-contentious matters. He regularly advises on and negotiates settlement agreements and is the team lead for employment contracts and policies. Greg’s immigration work includes advising employers on applications for sponsor licences and obtaining worker visas under the points-based immigration system.
B P Collins is also delighted to announce that Sharon Heselton and Dominic Ibbs become principal lawyers in its private client practice in recognition of their experience and seniority within the team.
Sharon specialises in probate applications, complex estate administration including intestacies and cross border estates and independent administration of contested estates. Her advice includes the practicalities in administering wills and inheritance tax implications and deeds of variation and demystifying trust terminology.
Dominic deals with all aspects of private client law including wills, probate and estate administration, powers of attorney and applications to the Court of Protection. As the secretary of B P Collins Trust Corporation Limited, Dominic is involved in the creation and administration of trusts, of which the Trust Corporation is the professional trustee. He also practices as a Notary Public.
