Apprenticeships

We offer apprenticeships to A-level students and Graduates. Both programs are paid, full time roles, with 20% of your time dedicated to ‘off the job’ learning. All tuition fees and course materials will be covered by the firm.

During your apprenticeship you’ll gain the opportunity to experience working in different practice groups and build your knowledge and skills, whilst working towards becoming a qualified solicitor.

You will be assigned a mentor to support you throughout your programme, acting as a point of contact from induction to qualification. You will also receive support with your studies from our course provider, University of Law.

Solicitor apprenticeship qualifying routes

Solicitor apprenticeship

This apprenticeship is for post-A-level students.

Entry requirements:

  • Five GCSEs, including maths and English – grade C or above (or equivalent); and
  • Three A levels (or equivalent) – minimum BBB

What you will be doing:

  • Four days per week spent working as a paralegal in one of our practice groups with the possibility of working in several different practice groups during your time as an apprentice.
  • One day per week spent studying with training provider ULaw.
    • Years 1-4 working towards achieving bachelor’s degree in law.
    • Years 5&6 working towards SQE preparation and examinations.

Duration:

  • 6 years

Qualifications obtained by the end of the apprenticeship:

  • Bachelors degree in Law
  • SQE 1&2
  • 2 years qualifying work experience
  • Qualification as a solicitor

Salary: Starting at £18,000pa

Graduate solicitor apprenticeship

The graduate solicitor apprenticeship is for graduates.

Entry requirements:

  • 2:1 bachelor’s degree in law or non-law degree plus PGDL

Duration:

  • 2 years 3 months

The apprenticeship involves:

  • Four days per week spent working as a paralegal in one of our practice groups with the possibility of working two or more different practice groups during your apprenticeship.
  • One day per week spent studying with training provider ULaw working towards SQE preparation and examinations.

Qualifications:

  • LLB Law
  • SQE 1&2
  • 2 years qualifying work experience
  • Qualification as a solicitor

Salary: Starting at £21,000pa
