The Chambers Student Guide which provides students with a definitive guide to the legal profession, has announced its much-anticipated results for 2023. B P Collins is delighted to announce that it has received fantastic review from their independent interview-based research about life at leading law firms.
The firm has been described as one that “reels in high-net-worth individuals and high-flying businesses from capital to country” with “really experienced partners at the top who are very supportive”.
All the trainees that were interviewed for the guide were based in the Gerrards Cross HQ, with the understanding that there is scope for them to spend time in our other offices (London and Thame) during their training contract. Trainees stated they were drawn to work at B P Collins as it provided an opportunity to “work very closely with partners and senior lawyers. Given that we’re a small to medium-sized firm, sometimes you can just be working with one senior person, so you cut out the middle people! If anything exciting is going on, the teams will get you involved, which is great for your development”.
Our firm’s office space in Gerrards Cross is “very fancy and modern” and with the move to the new offices in 2020, it “opened up opportunities to do things in a more environmentally-conscious way. The firm took measures to reduce its energy consumption and chose a fully green energy supplier” which we are rather proud of.
David Smellie is the firm’s training principal and as such takes a close interest in the progress of each of the trainee solicitors in the firm and the training that they receive. If you are interested in training at B P Collins, you can find out more information on our website.
