On 25 May 2018, the court ruled in favour of our client’s claim for revocation of a grant of probate on a will, leaving his brother’s estate to his sister.
Instead, the court ordered that the estate should be administered in accordance with a will that left the entire estate to our client.
The court made the order by way of summary judgment, which meant that the case was determined more quickly and cost effectively, without the parties having to pay for a full-blown trial.
Our client was awarded his costs of the application and of the main proceedings, against his sister.
