Probate and estate planning specialist
Sharon specialises in probate applications, complex estate administration including intestacies and cross border estates and independent administration of contested estates. Her advice includes the practicalities in administering wills and inheritance tax implications and deeds of variation and demystifying trust terminology.
Experience
Sharon is an associate member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). Several of her clients are high net worth individuals from London and Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Hertfordshire.
Other achievements
Sharon has been sought for media comment, having previously spoken in the national media on inheritance tax implications when not married and the Law Commission’s consultations into reforming the laws around Wills.
Sharon has been recognised by legal directories, The Legal 500 as a Leading Associate and Chambers HNW with a band 3 ranking.
Sharon has recently been asked to join the Membership Committee for the National Association of Independent Administrators and is looking forward to being involved in the growing area of independent estate administration and spreading the word.
Sharon lives in Buckinghamshire and has been a bereavement volunteer with CRUSE Bereavement Care, which provides bereavements support to people dealing with grief and sees these skills as essential to assist her clients going through difficult times.
